La Verne Music Trivia

Each spring, the University Of La Verne, holds its Spring Concert Series. Nearly all concerts are open to the general public. Tickets are very reasonably priced (several are free) and include discounts for students. Performances vary widely, and include Rock & Roll groups, Spanish and Irish folk music, Twentieth century chamber music, Jazz piano and poetry, Piano solo and group performances, Vocal performances, Barbershop harmony groups, student and staff performances, and many other local talented performers. For more information, visit the University of La Verne Spring Concert series.

The La Verne Heritage Foundation and the City of La Verne jointly host the annual Summer Concerts in the Park series. The free concerts begin at 6:30 pm on Sundays and run June through September. Concerts are held at Heritage Park, which is just east of Wheeler and north of Baseline. During the concert food and beverages are sold from vendors and include things such as hot dogs, popcorn, drinks and shaved ice, Red Devil Pizza, funnel cakes, cotton candy and pretzels from Sam’s Deli.
